Bought eggs have no flavor in my mind.
Spoiled with our chicken eggs.

They ususally do as they are offspring of my older hens which are great layers still, just not when moulting

Store bought eggs are something we avoided since more than 20+ years. I hope you will not have to buy any.

This past spring was the first time I had to buy eggs in almost 25 years. I re-homed a large portion of my flock and my ladies went on strike in protest. They were very upset with me.

I agree, they have no flavor. And they seem so pale and colorless in comparison with fresh eggs.

Yes, and even when in the store passing by them they often smelled awful even through their eggshells.
