Out of 10 ex-bats I rarely get fewer than 7 eggs per day, more often 8 and 9.
Once a fed the girls a bit of rabbit offal and got a full 10 eggs the next day!

2/22 - 8 pullets that don't lay yet -3 roos cuz roos can't lay (no matter how hard they try) -2 sebrights that are worthless for eggs -1 banty cochin that is always broody and cheaper than an incubator -6 d'uccles that are too young = 2/2!!!!
