After an investigation and intense questioning it was determined that the egg was most likely accidentally broken due to a thinner than normal shell before a clean up crew was called. No hens were charged.

48 today, but one was cracked by two hens having a scuffle in the nest box. Come on ladies... take it outside.

Finally got another egg today. She went 2 days without laying. Today's was HUGE. Couldnt believe it cracked it open and it's a double yolker.

The white egg is a large egg bought from the store for comparison.
