Two out of three cats sleep with us, but only in the winter. Cats find someplace cool in the summer. The coolest our house ever gets in the summer is about 75 (in the night) and the cats don't like being to hot. But in the winter the warmest place in the house is between my husband and I so thats where P-kitty is.
My dog Lucy sleeps in our bed when we are not in it, she trys to sleep with us sometimes DH always tells her to get. Our great Pyr immdiatly starts to lick my face as soon as the alarm clock goes off in the morning.
Both dogs usually sleep 1 on each side of the bed on the floor at night.
Rex & Cat-dog sleep with us, we wouldn't have it any other way. They are good bed warmers. We have one female cat K-Puss, comes inside some.
I have to admit, when I had my first two chics hatched here they sleep on my chest wrapped in a towel... nothing like snugglin' baby chics
I used to but it got to I couldn't SLEEP. They were everywhere! So now each night we put them to bed in their dog kennels. It has also helped reduce messes.
well with 5 dogs and 4 being boxers if they all sleep on the bed there is no room for me or DH !!
during the summer they sleep outside - they have a dog house that is about the size of a small chicken coop - so plenty of room.
but during the winter/ bad weather they sleep inside
Wally ( boxer ), Dixie ( Beagle/basset mix ) sleep in the bathroom- Dixie has bladder problems so it is better for her in there, they have plenty of blankets and towels to sleep on
Abbey ( boxer ) sleeps in a crate in the bedroom ( she has issues being locked in the bathroom )
Daisy ( boxer ) sleep on the bed with us never under the covers and normally right up against us - so if you have to get up and go potty in the night you are in trouble LOL
Gypsy ( 9 week old boxer ) is learning to sleep in the bathroom since she is learning that going potty on the carpet is bad !!!
all the dogs are allowed on the couch - try telling that many NO !!

She was a rat ter. I got her in Nov. of 95 and had my first child in feb.96. She helped me raise 4 kids, and I think she was better at it than I was at times. I miss her everyday. The vet that I took her too sent me a card in the mail about the rainbow bridge. I had never heard of it untile then. Boy was that a tear jerky.......
