No, but the Communist Manifesto does, and that was on his reading list, and since he claims to be a man of words, and grammar, I'm sure he has probably read it.

He was probably a kid who was never made to take out the trash or make his bed, and when real life rose up and slapped him in the face, he just wasn't prepared to handle it...Much like a huge chunk of today's society....Something for nothing is the common mindset, and what better group of people to instill the wonderful benefits of the nanny state.

Stay out of my life
Stay out of my pocket
Stay out of my bedroom
Stay out of my kitchen
Stay out of my garden
Stay out of my chicken house
Stay out of my religion.

Don't call me, I'll call you.

I agree to some extent with your last few lines. Of course most people that recite that mantra want it on their terms. IE, it's okay to get to decide what a woman should do with her body or who someone should be allowed to marry. Not ok to make you pay taxes. Ok to use the roads and the hospital when you cut your finger off. Not ok to make you have insurance. Ok to hire the guy that can't speak English when you need something done cheap. Not ok for that guy to send his kids to school.

Hard to say what this kid grew up like. He could have had a Dad that made him work to death and beat him on a regular basis. It will be a while before we know. Only thing we know for sure is he had issues. probably had voices in his head too. I'm not a shrink and I never ever believe all the hooey about kids doing bad because their parents didn't rule with an iron fist.

Lot of people have read the communist manifesto. Only difference between them and people that haven't is that they know the difference between communism and socialism.

I have WHAT in my yard? :

Note that I did not say End of the World. I merely said civil unrest/social destabilization......

The SHTF scenario is a personal thing. I think it already has hit the fan for alot of people. And unrest does not mean collapse, just potential serious problems. I am with wifezilla in being prepared. When I hear major storm coming I sit back and wait. I don't have 2 years worth of food!

I am really curious about this as the more people that believe it is possible the more likely it becomes.

AND BECAUSE INIQUITY SHALL ABOUND , THE LOVE OF MANY WILL WAX COLD. Mat. 24:12 A MAN'S FOES SHALL BE THOSE OF HIS OWN HOUSEHOLD Mat. 10:36 ( Jesus said more than the meek shall inherit the earth.)

We already have civil unrest. Just not to a major degree. Look at all the shootings and bombings. Of course we had the riots of the 60"s and as more people become upset over economic and political issues it is possible. (speaking of the U.S.)

Social destabilization is in it's infancey, but can be clearly seen as we see parents and children killing one another. The family unit is dissolving as we see more and more seniors with out family to assist them and we see more and more seniors abandoning their children and grandchildren in search of self pleasures. As we see political powers embrace anything and everything immoral to get votes. Not to mention Divorce and single parent homes.

Recently there were six people killed in arizona, just read some of the base comments made by people on yahoo. You can not legislate morality, but you can teach it to your children.

In a nutshell, people don't care about each other.

God bless the child what's got his own,

Rancher

Some people don't care about others. I don't think everyone is that way. There's just a lot of people now that only care about their own. There's also a lot of people that don't have anyone and have been abandoned by those they would love. I think most people do care about others. left to our own devices without people yelling in our ears all the time that others are bad, might make people a little more Jesus like. Until then we just have to do the best we can and try to overlook our differences.

I know it's hard to do.

I don’t know it could be interesting! Maybe it would turn the economy around. You know that they say the reason she sells so well is that, besides being off the wall crazy, in a recession excess sells. People like to emulate excess when times are tough. Besides think of the outfits she would wear to press conferences, like that meat dress!

Ok I am being goofy… but the idea does sort of makes me smile! I would vote for her!

I voted for Reagan. Lady Gaga isn't such a stretch. Does she have a monkey?
