How many of you that have pet chickens.........?

Watch your flock and look for issues? (health, predator, etc.)
Touch your birds frequently and look for health issues?
Sit with them and hold them?
Fresh water daily?
Clean coops regularly?
Do preventative maintenance? (worming, etc.)
Treat (to the best of your ability) any health problems?
Give healthy treats?
Mourn the loss of one?

yep! all of those! I love my "quiet time" when I go out in the morning and cuddle, feed, and watch my chickies. They are so simple, it just make them peaceful to me.

Yes, and ......Choose special treats for them. Have a part of the vegetable garden set aside for growing their favorite greens.............Drive to the next town, because that is the only place that sells the yummy "Chook Chow" that they like so much (looks like muesli, sometimes I mix it with yoghurt, and then it really does look like breakfast.)
