How many people out there are owned by Rabbits????

I have eight SQ Lionheads........3 Does, 3 Bucks and 2 little buns that are 1 week old. I have another litter due in three weeks. I don't show them, just love and enjoy them. There aren't many Lionead breeders around here, so I have several people that want them. They are all little sweethearts.

I replied to this thread already, but we've got more bunnies since then. I used to breed and show satin rabbits, and I've decided to get back in the game with mini rex. I now have 3 mr does, 1 buck, and 1 mini satin doe that needs to find a new place to hop.

I am so in love with the flemish giants after seeing them at the rabbit show I was at this last week end.

I had showed blue and black Rex for years and my son gave me these for my b-day. Im sold.. never want another breed. They are like dogs, really smart, really loving, easy to house train, don't chew as much.. Im in love.

I really enjoyed your website on the flemish giant rabbit. I am glad that you stick with just one other breeder to supply the colors you don't raise. My american chinchilla doe will be 12 lbs when full grown so she will be almost as big as a flemish giant. I am in love with the chinchilla color and the grey looks like a the light colored chinchillas and mine is the darker color. Hard to tell that in pictures though.

I used to show Mini Lops and some other breeds in 4-H. The last rabbit we ad was a Mini Rex that died of old age. We went a few years rabbitless but have just gotten some Satin, Harlequin, and New Zealand rabbits.

I was going to just get three does and a buck next spring... honestly... I promise...just three and a buck...and then in July I went to a chicken swap to look at chickens...honestly... I promise...cross my heart... and then I saw them, three of the cutest little cross breed does, five months old and for only $20 dollars for all. What a deal, it would be foolish to pass on such a great bargain, right? We now have a barn full of cross breeds, New Zealand's, and assorted others. I love them...almost as much as...dare I say... maybe more than... my chickens(sigh). Thank you Lord for eyes to see beauty, hands willing to care, and the love of small animals who are always happy to see you and feel your touch no matter how good or bad the day has been.

I have 2 male mini lops. I'm planning on getting them neutered and getting more rabbits (and spay/neuter all of them)

Ponders if buying all of one sex wouldn't be cheaper.. You may want to look at www.flemishgiant.netfirms.com for info on if spaying or neutering rabbits really makes a diffrance like it does on cats and dogs..
Its like spaying a hampster..
