being in Vermont I have been raised on skiing.

You? It is more than just a sport for me. I have 6 pairs of skis. I'm downhill all the way!

I ski, we ski, we all ski. Everyone here has a couple of pairs, a good pair & some rock skis.
DH is a former patroller & snow maker for a dozen or so years
I have been skiing for about a decade now, but didn't really get any money to do a whole lot of it till the last couple of years
DD is also becoming a good skiier, she's working right now for a new pair of boots this winter & helmet.

Last year we hit Snowshoe & Winterplace WV a few times, all the resorts in NC and one here in TN, we live in the middle of 3 "areas".
The year before was Killington, plus all the local jaunts.. before that Hunter mountain etc... We probably ski a few weeks of each season, we're already planning this years trip, I've been comparing flights already today.

4' of snow already falling out west.. we're trying for Alta or Jackson Hole this year with a possible trip to Sugarbush (I have friends & a vwt to visit in Nashua, NH) and Sugarbush has been on my list..

Ive only been to Colorado 4 times and I snowboarded the first time.
I loooooooooooooooooooooved it and I swear to go back many times!
