How many Trick or Treaters are you getting? or got?

in australia so that makes it like probably 500'000 in our whole country trick or treating out of 22 million!

and we loves 2 hours out of town!

We had ten last year, tonight so far...zero. When we lived in Florida, we used to get two to three hundred. I loved it.

I've lost count, but I guarantee half of them were grown adults

We have a haunted house across the street going on, so we have tons of visitors tonight!

4. I bought $30.00 worth of candy for 4 crazy kids. I guess it was too cold this year.

Zero - same as last 6 Halloweens.

Guess that's what happens when you live in the country, the kids get shuttled to the neighborhoods where the houses aren't so far apart and they can get a lot more candy.

'Course, my parents always took us to a neighborhood - so I guess I can understand. Just once, I'd like to see a cute little kid in a costume they're proud to wear out here! I even bought the GOOD candy bars, just in case.

DH loves Halloween and kids and we live out in the country. We solved the isolation problem by going camping at a campground during an October weekend. All the campgrounds have trick or treat every weekend in October. He decorates the camper area, we dress up and watch the lil ones march around for candy. There are usually well over 100 kids of all ages.
Dear grandson-2- & granddaughter-12- came tonite. We sugared them up for mom and dad and sent them on their way. The two year old downed FOUR dum dum lollipops while he was here. Didn't know they could go down so fast! Last night was 3 other grands. I fed them chicken noodle soup( they were hungry), ice cream, and sent them home with candy candy candy.

Probably about 25 trick or treaters - don't know for sure since we have a long driveway and we just leave the candy at the end with a lantern. Just neighborhood kids. My daughter had to count her candy (for math) 101 pieces, 75 of those were some kind of chocolate.

None we never do. It is too far out here and too dark.

I didn't get any either...it seems everyone is trending towards trick-or-treating to be too unsafe for kids...no one in my neighborhood even decorated their houses this year

It makes me sad...I loved trick-or-treating as a kid.

I'm over 50 now, but it's slowing down.
This year I didn't get many babies- the parents bringing the really little ones around in the late afternoon. A few little ones along for the ride with big bro or sis.
