How many?

How many chickens would I need to get to have 2 dozen eggs per week? I was thinking about getting:

3 Mille fleur bearded d'Uccle
1 Black ausralorp
2 Easter eggers
1 Buff orpington
2 White silkies

Would I get enough eggs?

If you get all those breeds, you should get at least 15 eggs a week during the summer, maybe not when theyre molting, but that is enough birds to get 2 doz a week!

On most days a black Australorp will lay everyday. However the bearded d'uccle will lay smaller eggs. Also the easter eggers, buff Orpington,will lay everyday! With the silkies you can expect around 4-7 eggs week.
