Hubby and I drove 2 hours today to get a roo and ended up getting a pullet as well. On the way home they were in an open box on my lap with the vent window pointed in the box so they had LOTS of air circulation. Sadly, I believe the pullet has suffered from a heat stroke. Her feet are now straight out in front of her while she's sitting and she can't stand. She's a silkie about 4 months old and I can't find any information on what, how much and how often I need to feed her. Since getting her home I gave her 1 ml of poultry cell combined with 1 ml of water and then a few hours later 1 ml of chicken baby food from a jar combined with 1 ml of water. I've found a few stories of people slowly bringing them back after they've been in this same condition, but none say how much to feed. Thanks for any help you can offer.
