What is the average cost at the vet for a chicken checkup?

It will vary depending where you are, and if you go to a farm vet or a small animal practitioner. My bird specialist cost $90 for an office call/exam. That is just the beginning though.

Many office calls are in the $45 to $55 range; more for a specialty practice. Plus ant meds or testing to be done.
