I have several baby chicks, barnyard mix.
Roos-silver lace wyandotte, buff orpington.
Hens- buff orpington, easter eggers, wyandotte, polish, silkie.

I also have fertilized eggs (same breeds)

I was just seeing what i should charge (fair price) for eggs or a hatched chick

Really, really depends on your area.

I can say in my Northwest Oregon, urban/rural area:

Chicks of breed quality: $5 per chick to $10 if highly coveted/rare breed
Barnyard mix: $2 to $3 per chick
Pullets of breed quality: $10 to $20, possibly $30 if highly coveted/rare breed
Roosters: Unless exceptional breeder quality, you can't give them away. $0
Fertilized eggs: $5 per dozen (unless breeder quality then $5 per egg)
Eating eggs: $5 per dozen

I have seen people try to sell roosters. 😂

I’m sure they aren’t serious. They just give it a price to prevent someone from using their rooster as free dinner. 🤣

I sell roosters. I'm completely serious with most of them. I'd rather deal with it myself than give someone a free bird that means I won't sell any of that bree next year
