How much does your chicks cost at the feed store or TSC

i live smack dab in a city so i am urban urban does mean you live in a city right lol, and before the chicks even come into the feed store they are already sold and cost of living around here i am not sure let me look that up

$2.09 for sexed pullets, up from $1.99 last year, at the local feed store. About 8 breeds to choose from, and no minimums, tracking, or shipping costs. They deal wth any dead chicks from the order; customers take home lively ones. They order from Ridgeway in Ohio.

i guess it ranges i just figured in in california it would be the most expensive but it seems it is preatty cheap wher ei get them from

We have a Rural King close by in another little town- They were selling st run chicks for 99 cents for a while and then they had a sale for 79 cents . They had leghorn pullets for 1.99. Then they had Dominique st . run for 2.39 cents. I got 2 turkens and 4 partridge cochins ( I think) for 99 cents apiece. Don't know yet what sex they will turn out to be. Keep your fingers crossed- I would like to have at least one of each for each breed.

We have a flea market here every tuesday- The people who bring baby chicks usually sell the st run for 1 apiece and if they have sex-links they usually sell the pullets for $2. They try to give away the little roosters. They gave two sexlink roosters to my daughters before I could say NO!! LOL They are really growin up too. The mother was a Delaware and the Dad was a Rir. He had the parents there so you could see where the chicks came from.

Oh and rural kings had Cornish x also the first time for $1.69

$2.95 here bantam or standard st. run. But this is the only feed store in the county that gets chicks to sell like that. The other ones either do not deal with chicks at all or only special order.

At my little feed store I paid 1.75 for pullet chicks and 1.50 for roos, but that was last year, I didn't buy any this year--just hatched my own!!!!!!
