How much food is needed daily for a duck?
I have 18 ducks the smallest are Khakis and the largest are Pekins. They free range around the pond until I put them up at night.

My friends tease me saying I have the most spoiled ducks, they also seem to think that ducks are a bit piggish lol

I think most of us just give them all they want, or do a unlimited meal in the morning and evening. Either way your ducks look happy and healthy, not at all too fat.

If you want good Egg production I have learnt that you don't want your ducks to be over weight. So about half a cup for ducks that are not laying and 3/4 cup for laying birds.
I believe that is what Stories gide to raising ducks recommends for medium sized ducks.

I have feed out free choice all day......I make a salad and feed mixed in a bowl of water once a day.....

I think all Ducks have the look of being fat.....
