Ok, so I’ve been tube feeding Little Lou since Friday...he doesn’t eat or drink on his own. Al he does in sleep. I have him on penicillin now, just for two days. I’m hoping he can get over this infection, get him to eat and then find the real issue. I am willing to cut into what som had thought was a Bumblefoot, once he’s a bit stronger.
My question is this. We watched out 12 yr old elglish bulldog go this summer. Her organs slowed and she passed soo slow. But we weren’t giving up...just in case. There was nothing a vet could do, she was just an old dog and her time had come...but it killed us all the same. I’ve been watching him go downhill since thanksgiving and he hates the th pubs feeding...I’m sure his throat is raw. So, I would love to corptinue until the antibiotics are done and see a big difference in him. Otherwise I feel like I’m making things worse. I don’t ever want this little Lou go...but it’s not about me...it’s what’s in his interest...do you think I should continue all therapies. Until the meds have run it course and then wait a few weeks..they decide?
