Seems like an opinion. My chickens get great food, daily roaming and a nice roomy coop and run

I dont even give mine water in the winter once it snows so.... Im not in alaska though eitherIn the winter? In alaska? YES the do.
No one said about putting a waterer in a coop, and there shouldnāt be anyway![]()
I feel bad for them. See your 2 comments contradict eachother, youāre saying you care about your chickens more then most others but you donāt give them water if it snows?I dont even give mine water in the winter once it snows so.... Im not in alaska though either
Thatās what iām saying. Two contradicting statements here. ālive better then most iāve seenā ⦠ādonāt give them water wants it starts snowingāYou don't provide water to your chickens? And then you kill them because they are not laying eggs?

There is also no way theyāre getting adequate hydration by eating snowSnow can be very dry. You can fill a pan with water, put it on the stove and heat it up, and end up with a very small amount of water. It is a VERY inefficient and inadequate way of getting moisture. You can literally freeze to death trying to "drink" snow.
People be getting so triggered or course my birds get water in the winter yet they still prefer to eat the snow lol and the hens i processed where spent hens. But mine do not get heated bowls they would spill it within secondsI do think no water is a little harsh, but @Poultrybonkers has been on BYC eleven years. Their birds always look healthy and and in pictures.
