How much should a 10 week old Rhode Island Red Weigh

I have been worrying for a couple of weeks now, when I pick up my RIR peeps they feel so light. They are only 10 weeks old but I thought they would be heavier. Does anyone know the answer?

RIR's aren't as big as I though they would be, But my Hampshire reds did get really big.

Hey featherhead007, I don't think I have seen a Hampshire red before so I am not sure how big they get. I am just afraid maybe they have worms I guess I will have to get a fecal. Thanks for your input.

Sorry I didnt get back to you I have not been on lately. The Hampshire Red looks the same as a Rhode Island Red. Thanks for the picture. Terri

RIRs don’t get big quick. I have 10 and they are 20 weeks old. They are also brick shaped.

This picture is them 3 weeks ago at 17 weeks.

This is a RIR at 7 weeks next to a 7 week Cornish cross
