how much should new chicks be eating?

I expected them to eat more. They were born 4 days ago and frequent their feeder but seems to peck a few times and then theyre on their way. The feed level doesnt seem to be going down. Everyone looks healthy and is pooping plenty, drinking, etc. I guess i just expected them to be little gluttons.

Don't worry, they're just getting started and they'll be gorging on and kicking feed all over the brooder soon. Chicks live off the remains of their yolk for the first 3 days or so. If they're checking out the food, drinking and are active, I wouldn't worry about them, just enjoy
