How often are poults supposed to poop?

I have the first hatchlings from my naragansetts(sp), but I noticed that the one who hatched on the 3rd has pooped perhaps once since he pipped. I'm starting to worry, it's sibling has pooped perhaps twice and it hatched today. Am I just worrying to much? The one who hatched on the 3rd is pecking at it's food, eating the grass clippings and turkey feed, along with drinking plenty. Am I worrying to much?

I am not familiar with poults but have seen a few chicks with pasty butt that limits their ability to poo. I would say to check for that. If that's the problem, I wrote a blog post on what I found to be the best way to take care of the problem. Check out my pasty butt cure.

YES.

Calm down. Make sure they've got good feed; plentiful fresh clean water;, and are adequately warm.

Then sit down and leave well enough alone. Nature will take care of the rest.
