How old is my hen?

I have a hen who laid around 2-3 months ago and now has stopped! She is a rescue and the papers say she is roughly 18 months but she looks and acts older. Can anyone tell me her age? Thanks for any responses.

I know of no way to determine age. Chickens are funny creatures. I have one hen that laid for a couple of weeks and then stopped for a year! Suddenly she stated laying again. You just never know.

Tough to guess ages on adults. If she came from a commercial farm then my guess would be 18-24 months at time of rescue.
