Any info on Wyandottes. My older girls are approaching 18 weeks but I am going to try to be patient and wait and see.
Although, one of my girls (15 weeks both for the older pullets) has taken to hanging out in the roost a lot and in the nest area. Her waddle and comb are very red, Her sister is not as red and not inclined to hang out upstairs in the top of the a- frame. But sometimes she goes just hang out.
Also, I heard that weather effects/affects lay production. It has been hot here. I have a shade tent over my coops so that they are never in direct sunlight but I live in Florida and it has been in the 90's or hotter with a lot of humidity.
