How old were you when you got your first chicken?

I got my first chicken when I was 9, but my parents moved a few months later and didn't want to build another place for her to live, so I had to give it away.

I have some now at 26, though!

I got my first chickens exactly 7 weeks ago when I was 33.
They are so cute, I wish I had gotten them sooner.

I was 10... a family down the road had a couple and the kids got tired of them and they gave them to me... and then someone gave me three more...
