How old would you say these are?

I have just got two new pullets, and was told they are about 12 weeks old. Can anyone tell me from the attached photos if they think that is a reasonable estimate, please? - I am unsure because I do not have enough experience, unlike some of you folks!

One is a Sussex, and the other a Welsummer cross, and they both have tiny combs showing, but are still peeping, if that helps. Hopefully the hand size will help you judge their size. I do know they seem so light to me - I am used to picking up my full grown Bresse girls, who can lay eggs 70g or more!

Seem a bit small for 12 weeks. I'd put them closer to 10 weeks, considering they are still peeping.
