Had a field trial on Wednesday and 'jumped' Bucky during the event. He still has not dropped his antlers and is still vigorously rubbing. Someone told me that is because he is trying to knock them off ? I've spent a lot of years in the outdoors , and this is the only buck I have encountered who 'rubs' this time of year. Now that everyone knows of him, he will be in danger next season.

Definitely very late to still be sporting antlers. Diet affects when they drop them too, so he must be eating well.
And I'd be happy to post pics for you too....just sayin...

I never knew they dropped them, I thought they just continue to grow and sport more points each year. I think I am more confused than (ab)normal.
