I am looking for some advice on how to best ship baby chicks. I know that there are a lot of variables, such as, what the temperatures are going to be for where you are shipping, and how many chicks you are shipping.
I would like to know, how you go about doing it. Do you add a heat pack every time you ship? Do you cover the heat pack so that the heat is less direct, and more evenly distributed?
Do you add gro-gel to your packages? If so, do you add it in a way that it does not make a mess, and is separate from the poop?
Do you have minimum chick sales? Do you have any experience in how many chicks arrived alive at times when the weather was hot/cold?
Do you have a recommendation on shipping containers?
Any advice would be recommended! Thank you for your advice and time!
