Wow Kathy! I'm so happy that the eggs are hatching. I was just thinking about you a couple of days ago and wondering when the eggs were due.

You are now officially the first person to hatch some of my silkie ameraucana (EE) eggs. The one other person I sent to didn't have any eggs hatch.

Can't wait to see pictures!

As soon as I get home, I will post a picture of my babies born a couple of weeks ago. They are feathering out beautifully!

I had one baby hatch at 2am last night. When I went to check on it there was anothher zipping. Went back to bed and got up to check on them a little bit ago and my zipper is dead

It zipped mid way around the shell and then stopped and died.

It was so close--how did this happen? I broke lockdown because there were no other pips and quiclky pulled the egg out. I'm so heartbroken
