How To Add Niacin?

Ahh, a few times a week?! I thought people did it daily! Good to know, thank you!!
Mine had nutritional yeast daily as ducklings. Better safe than sorry, in my opinion.

Ugh, ours too. I can’t seem to find a container I like (or them either for that matter) to keep the food from being spoiled.
If you keep the water farther away from the feed so they have to walk back and forth from the feeder to the waterer the feed is less likely to get soaked.

I’ve never added extra when feeding all flock starter. It probably depends on the brand, but we’ve never had any issues. Our ducklings always are healthy.
We’ve had Pekin and currently have three generations of Blue Swedish.

My silly birds spill it, too! They can be messy eaters!
And I’d have to look on the can, I honestly don’t remember the brand, but I think it was a brewers yeast…? Maybe? Will that do?

Are you feeding them duck/goose feed or either an All Flock? There is niacin in those.
Unless you have a duckling or gosling thats showing leg problems or growth problems, I would not give extra.

The babies however should be on starter feed, to meet their nutritional needs while developing and growing.

I don't know the circumstances for you, but to answer your question- you can just sprinkle about a Tbsp on top of their food.
For adults I would do 2 Tbsp- because their feed quanitity is bigger.

I don't use containers for my ducks to eat from. They prefer to eat knock half their feed on the ground and eat it from there lol. I use crawfish trays. (IDK what they're actually called, its just a large round plastic tray)- but I'm from Louisiana so its called crawfish trays here haha!

I have a plastic shoebox for their drinking water. Its big enough for them to clean their bills in but too small for them to get in. Although I can't say they haven't tried.
