I believe they have such a bike. Have you ever seen, Living like Ed, on the Green Channel? Ed Bagley uses a bike for power up his toaster for his morning toast, must be something like what you are talking about???​

I agree 100% about not reusing the canning lids - but maybe they put down parafin before using them again? I assume that would work.

Anyone have ideas on where to get mason jars cheap?

I saw an article today about building earthbag dome buildings on Mother Earth's site. Check it out at:
