How to build a duck pond for four Pekin Ducks?

i was wondering if it is a good idea to did all the muck out of a 10x10 hole. it is encased in rock but im not sure how to keep it clean. i am looking to get around 3-6 ducks

I use Four Two by Twelve by Eight planks of wood make a frame then line it with heavy duty construction Polly works like a charm I made the kids skating rinks this way lasts a long time and you can put a drain in it also Good Luck hope this is helpfull

Thank you very helpful but my sewage and drinking water are attached to well water. I don't want to run it dry but there is usually water there the whole year
