I find it odd that the color cannot be added after the link is added.

That is because the link mechanism has a predetermined color.

First you have to copy a link to something.

Once you copy it then type a word.
Highlight the word then click the chain thingy...and PASTE the link you copied into the box that pops up when you click the chain thingy.

yeah but it wouldn’t change the color until the after text

i need to try again today.....my link box wouldn’t let me type text and then i did change the color but it wouldn’t apply the color to the link. i started getting so frustrated that it wouldn’t do everything that i almost threw my phone across the room
