How to convince my mom to let me get ducks

I sincerely apologize for assuming your gender. And I am not trying to say you are irresponsible. I was just trying to emphasize that your parents will ultimately be responsible and if they are not committed than maybe it is best to wait until you can guarantee these animals care. I started working when I was fourteen as well, I was a Kennel Tech at a local Animal Hospital, even more proof of responsibility, but little did I realize that took away from my dedication to my pets. Maybe since photography is something you do at home and you are not going away for school you could incooperate ducks into your activities and such. I am unsure, but you asked for our opinion of convincing your mother to get you ducks and because animals are not a necessity I did not want to support pushing the life of something onto someone else who did not seem willing. I did not know the whole situation either! Whatever happens will happen and I’m sure if you get ducks you will care for them.

That's ok lol. If I do get ducks, I can garuntee that they will be well taken care of. Also, working at an animal hospital sounds great! And I agree, with my job I can do from home, my school that I can do from home( online school) and other situations, I think getting ducks could be ideal for me. Also, that post about how I'm not irresponsible want directed at you. It was directed at the people who kept criticizing me. ( Cough, cough, IdyllwildAcres ) ahem. Excuse me.

If it ends up being too much?....Probably not ?.....You can always find a new home for them....They are worth trying....I love my Ducks...Feathered puppies all their lives...

Haha yes @CarleeAnn the coop and run will be attached and I think it's bigger than it looks. The coop will be for nightime and the run for food and water. But the swimming area is yet to come. It will be a large kiddie pool burriedso the sides are underground and it is level with the ground.
