How to dye a baby chick???

To everyone here trying to tell me it is silly, I do love there original color that god dezined them with but I am just a kid trying to have a little fun.
Plus I may not be doing it yet.

i know they CAN dye them that way.. just sayin the chicks we got back in the 60's were dunked in a dye bath.. my aunt was one of the women who did it at the hatchery

Hey, I sing silly songs to my chickens (and my dog and my cat). My husband would suggest that "silly" is too mild a word for that behavior. However, the dog seems to like it. The jury is still out on the chickens and the cat doesn't like anything. It doesn't seem to harm or bother them and it makes me happy. I suspect dying your silkies with a cotton-ball dipped in diluted food coloring probably falls into the same category.
