How to feed chickens in the winter 🥶

So I keep my feeders and waters just outside my coop next to the ramp leading up to the pop door. Overtop is a piece of plywood protecting the feeder but when it rains really hard the feeder does get wet a tiny bit. My coop is really too small to keep the feeder and water inside and the indoor feeder and water I have a very small for 11 chickens. It would work but it’s not ideal. Should I try to cover the sides of my run and top or put the feeder and water inside
We have a big tarp over part of the run. It covers about a 4ft wide swath of the entire top and hangs down over one side too. It acts as sun shade, rain and snow block. We have a hanging feeder and placed it near the center of the tarp.

Put them in a large dog house. Stays dry

How should I go about winterizing it? Is there anyway I could keeps snow off of it, here is a picture of my feed a waterer set up. I have a small piece of plywood above the feeder but it’s not enough to stop snow
Not sure if i posted a picture of mine but we did about the same thing just a little differently and never had problems with it. We bought cheap plastic “siding” from home depot to cover the top of the run.

Under your egg box looks dry… would it fit there?

I covered up the sides o my run with used/ recycled patio sliding doors and windows I was given. They work fantastically. My covered outdoor pen is at least 6 1/2 feet tapering to about 8 feet tall. So I’ve only covered the area outside the main human door area and it’s working great today. We’re just having our first major storm here. We have at least a foot or more of snow and drifts are crazy.
