How to get rid of or capture chickens

I have a problem with feral chickens and I’m trying to find ways to get rid of them. Capture with something I build and throw away? Capture and sell them? Capture with something I build and breed for eggs? I could probably catch 50 per day without really trying and if I did that for a few weeks I’m guessing I would make a dent in the population, but it’s tough to tell. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

Capture and eat the roosters. You could catch the hens and put them in coops with nest boxes. Just make sure to regularly (like 2 or 3 times per day) collect the eggs so the hens don’t go broody on you. They are very prone to do that! Of course, those little eggs make just as good omelets and scrambled eggs if you use a few more than you would with the big store eggs.
