how to get your ducks to love you...as much as ducks love, anyway.

Take a big piece of cardboard and set it on the lawn with a brick on top to keep it from blowing away. In two days check underneath.
Get your four year old son to feed the worms to the ducks.
Repeat daily until lifting the cardboard sends them into ducky tail wag spasms of joy.

The kids think it's fun, too.

ohh.. looks like i need to go buy a kid and put my ducks outside lol.

Evidently, worms love cardboard. They come to the top to feed, and then you can grab them. We've caught between five and ten each time we've lifted it.
You have to sacrifice some of your yard, though. But if you have ducks, what else is new?

I did that inside their run and now when I go in there, they all come and stand around waiting for me to lift it up. They fight to be the first one in.
