How to Grow a Blueberry Bush

OK, I'll do the slant cut.

Think I"ll just take th easy route and fence off a section of the compost pile. TO keep the chickens from disturbing them.

Heard you rain wil be arriving here late on wed, a little later than forcasted, so buys me a few hours of planting in the morning before they arrive!!
Heck of a storm today it rained so hard so fast and it had hail mixed in.
I hope they root and grow wonderfully for you. No chicky chickys

Hmm-- I have bought play sand from Home Depot and it is very fine and packs when wet. So I think something that doesn't pack, not a beach sand, not a fine sand. I have visions of vermiculite blended with sand . . .

Does this method work with dormant plants?? My rhodies have huge leaves from spring growth . . . ???

Do not use playsand. I did last year and it waterlogged. Coarse so it will drain. Does vermiculite hold in water? Home Depot has building sand very coarse

SUppose it might need some food! lol

I'm just going by Mike's Backyard Gardening tips. He's done 40,000 already this year alone,

Go on youtube and look up Monday's with Mike. He has a weekly 3-4 min report on all the best ways to do things.

We just upgraded from dial up a couple of years ago! I have an old fashioned telephone down stairs... remember the kind where you put your finger in the hole and turn the dial for each number???

I feel like I have gone backwards. I was used to having cable internet, now where we live we have to have satellite internet and it is not much faster if any than broadband.
