How to hide a rooster

I was thinking the other day that maybe I should bury the hatch with my neighbor, but then I thought about it and decided I really would love to bury the hatch...just not in the ground if you know what I mean.

I don't think you could get BYC on the internet if you did that, although I understand the feeling.

We were lucky in that we were given 15 days to rehome our guy before they would fine us. Sister-in-law lives in the country and found an older man who kept a small farm and brought farm animals to schools so kids could see real farm animals, so our guy got a good life.

2 of my cockerels went to an animal park so they have it good.

I like your quote : " I don't give a cluck! I want a rooster!" I even consider asking my doctor of 30 years to say that at 61 I needed a therapy rooster. But just can not bring myself to abuse that, as so many people really need therapy pets.

My psychologist has written me a letter that states that my chickens are therapy pets to help me cope with my sometimes extreme anxiety and panic attacks. If I’m ever feeling like I’m going to have an attack I go outside and hold one of my chickens for a while. Afterwards I feel so much better.

Exactly my point! Glad they help, they are calming for sure. Nice to know they are being used properly as therapy pets!! I think that's why the neighborhood cop used to come pet the rooster!
