this is one that have had bookmarked on firefox for a long time,in case there was no other way out-have never had to use it thankfuly but am glad its there and quite easy to have all those items.
am not bothered about the costs of going to a vet as woud try and bum the costs off someone somehow but its a more difficult question of having a vet there when it happens-the chucks vet doesnt directly work with them.

I just euthanized my first chick. I dreeded it but it had to be done. I went with the old fashioned method. One swift wack to the back of the head and it was over. Then I buried it. I was always raised in the country and sometimes you have to end their suffering. I've shot a snake bitten rabbit once (after I killed the five foot rattler). I take comfort in knowing that the suffering is over.
