How to lose 60-70 lbs in a hurry?

seriously; diet is a fad word..ANY diet plan isnt gonna work..as soon as you go off of it..the weight will come back on..

I do Weight watchers..it is NOT a diet; it has been teaching me how to eat correctly and in the correct amounts for my age/weight/height and activity level...

I do NOT agree w/a precious poster saying you cant have pork rinds/wings etc on it..YOU CAN..NOTHING is off limits..you just have to adjust the rest of your days food accordingly..

I am full on WW...following my correct amounts etc...

I have lost 60 lbs on WW slowly; I avg about 1/2 lb a wk...it has taken 2 yrs almost...

but I am keeping it off and am happy and know what I can eat that is healthy..really makes me think about what i put into my body
compared to what i used to...

and it helps me educate my children on how/what they should eat too...

losing weight FAST is not healthy..I'm sorry..you are just gonna have to change your eating habits..

Sure you can "have them"..but you'll be starving the rest of the week, cause your points will be all used up...
.... blah... that sucks for ME...
Just my opinion..

With that being said..i STILL may start WW.... cause i just cant seem to give up my carbs,...

lol no..I just lose VERY slow...you can have them..you just gotta plan them in..lol..

I dont eat them...even on very very extreme disciplined weeks I lost maybe 1/2 a lb a wk...
and I work out too..

I wasnt targeting you specifically..I just knew I read it and wanted to make sure I pointed
out we can have what we want..I didnt know who I was resonding to..as I didnt quote it..
so please dont take it personally...

but trust me..I completely understand..cause i want nachos ALL of the time lol...
so I keep that at bay by eating chips/salsa every week..usually about 3-4 times a wk...

Thats my problem too... i lose SO slowly... thyroid issues..(so i give up on diets too quickly!). plus being a lazy slug doesnt help..
I could give up the pork rinds for chips and salsa...
HOw many chips can you eat though?

haha...

I eat the tostitos bite size white corn ones; I get 1 oz for 4 pts..and one oz comes out to be about 15-18 chips..
I eat the bite size due to the fact that my mind sees "MORE" chips compared to the large ones ...where I get fewer #'s lol..

I literally eat about 2 servings when I do eat them...so I make sure I allot enough pts..

but I really do like the fact WW has made me more aware of what I eat and the impact it has on me etc..
I really just want my kids to NOT be overweight like I was...

here is me before:

Ok, I randomly saw this thread, and have read a number of other people's advice, saw many good ways to lose the weight that others here have posted. Now what I wanted to do was add this, whatever you decided to do, and I guess this will go for anyone wanting to lose weight too, what you really need to do is believe in what you're doing. Now I'm a bean pole so it could be argued that I don't have much right saying anything or giving advice, but I've had lots of experience in losing weight and keeping it off, I've wrestled and coached wrestling for many years. Ok, I know that's a different purpose for losing weight and such but my advice comes from the coaching aspect. What I found and the advice I gave the kids was that they needed to believe that what they were doing was going to help them. What I was getting at is if you go about losing the weight and have that little bit of doubt in your mind you'll cause yourself to fail. Believe that what your're going to do is going to work for you and stick with it, never doubt yourself. There's a lot of mental work as well as physical and what have you in losing weight and keeping it off.

and having a stroke because my bp can't handle the added mass of my body.. If I just wanted to lose weight for no reason, slow and easy does it... but I am worried I don't have time for slow and easy.. I go to the doctors about this next week.

I understand..however; think about it; if you lost weight fast ..you can add added stress to your body doing it the unhealthy way...

I do understand..completely....

GL on your choice...
