Someone has 13 welsummer chicks and one is a rooster, how do or can I figure out
which one is a rooster? Thanks for any replies..

At 5 weeks it will be super easy. The males will have pronounced pink combs and have black feathering on their chest. The females will have salmon coloring on their chest.

Pullet?? She's 5 weeks darker coloring but no red in the comb.

What if your 5 week old looks like a mix of the two pictures? Ours looks more like the male here but does not have any color to her comb, nor is it as big as this.

Curious about Charlotte, the Welsummer on the left.

Thank you :)
