Oh boy.. I have a few other eggs in the incubator from the same two silkies .. hopefully it's not hereditary in my case or a diet deficiency from the parents! No others can't catch it. I've done a lot of reading and they say wry neck has a few causes like heridity infection defiency and injurey. not sure which caused my silkies wry neck? But not to worry. others won't catch it from her.
Thank you! I hope your little girl gets better soonI hope not too! I'm sure she will get better it just takes some time. She sure is cute! My poor silkies head is still between her legs. Going on week two. she does pick her head up to eat from the bowl I hold up to her beak. mine can only walk backwards right now. It takes a lot of patience but slowly they improve!
thank youThank you so much! Its really hard to see them in this condition I know! Yes patience is a must. I feed and water every two hours. I hope for improvement every day! Thank you for your prayers! I will pray for your chick as well. How is she eating? Is she eating OK? That's important. To keep up her strength ! I hope your little one bounces back quickly!
