Ivermectin.

Ivermectin is not licensed for the use on poultry.
In the UK you are in breach of the NOAH code of practice by supporting or encouraging the use of this product.
There are no officially recognized studies on the effects of Ivermectin on eggs laid by treated fowl.
There are documented studies on the side effects of Ivermectin on humans.
Ivermectin is not effective for the treatment of lice.
Ivermectin should only be used on the advice of a qualified vet.

I find it interesting that technically those here who are advising the use of Ivermectin could be liable to prosecution (technically) in the UK.

You can’t do anything in the UK without being in breach of some overreaching ridiculous hippy law.
Now look up fipronil it’s even scarier.

@Shadrach if the permethrin dust was working why are you interested in using Ivermectin?
Tbh I'm not sure. I saw some for sale and having read a bit about it decided to give it a try.
I have one rooster that picks up scaly leg mite like a magnet. I thought perhaps treating him with Ivermectin might give me a head start and from then on using Vaseline on a regular basis might keep it under control.
