How to Worm your chickens.

You have a point, Ruby would request a shower door too, probably one that's curved since the world does revolve around her...so she thinks.

I recently put up curtains... and my hens actually do seem to like it better. Even had one girl who has refused to lay in the boxes forever suddenly start using the boxes!

I left gaps for them to see out. And I mostly just used old towels with the most colorful side facing into the box since chickens actually see much more color than we do. And I just stapled them to the wood frame. It isn't pretty, but it works. I did see some ruffly curtains that would look cute, but I really don't see myself cleaning them either. So when it comes time and these ones get to gross, I might just dispose of them and replace with yet more old towel strips.

Ruby sounds like a great name... pics?!

ETA: no poo smears on the curtains so far.
