the air cells started expanding a few days ago and ive seen shadows flickering for a day or so. when should they pip? also i havent sprayed them simce lockdown should i?

its at 40% humidity right now according to pete55s guide he doesnt ncrease til external pipping. he also keeps it at 25% throughout incubation. but ive also seen people increase as soon as they lockdown. what should i do?

First, take a deep breath. 🙂 Goslings take a while to hatch. Then re-review @pete55's goose hatching guide.

Second, what breed are they and what day are they on?

Third, misting and cooling really should occur earlier in incubation to assist with moisture loss. If they're in lockdown, I wouldn't start now. Have you been monitoring the air cells to ensure they've grown sufficiently?

Best of luck with your hatch!

They've all internally pipped now!! Finally. I was so anxious! Past phase one.

I have been misting and cooling throughout but wasnt sure if I should continue during lockdown. I've got humidity at %75 now.

They are either pure Toulouse or Toulouse Chinese cross. I'm so anxious!!

That's great! They're in the homestretch. 🙂

Don't forget that external pip to hatch can take a couple of days. Patience will be needed. And keep Pyxis's guide to assisted hatching handy, just in case.

Hang in there!

I ended up making a safety hole in all three like the pyxs guide said she does for valuable eggs lol these eggs are valuable to me!! One externally pipped and might even be unzipping. One still has not externally pipped even tho I have him a safety hole yesterday and the last one just got a safety hole this morning he internally pipped yesterday afternoon sometime.

I've read that assisted hatch guide through and through so I am ready and able to assist if needed! But I'm just gonna be patient and wait lol.

One hatched and one other finally externally pipped!!! The other one keeps moving but not as much as they others. I have also never heard him peep just click. Is that normal? I don't have the highest hope for him...

He hatched!!! I really didn't think he'd make it I never heard him cheep once. He externally pipped and about 12 hours later unzipped. Huzzah!!
