awwww how cute is he???? I love those blue eyes, I showed DH the pictures and told him I want one - he said no LOL but I am getting a new boxer puppy later this month!!

I wouldn't plan on showing or anything, and if I wanted to do obedience, or almost anything except conformation there are plenty of organizations that allow deaf dogs (AKC does not), so why not? It'd still make a great pet! And you're right breeders should know better, there is no reason at all the breed merle to merle.

I think anything that is dark colored and has blue eyes is very striking! My black nigi doe is due to have kids within the next few months and I'm hoping she'll give me a blue eyed black doeling!

Haviris....I know what you mean about being a sucker for blue eyes.....I went to JUST look at the neighbors new bunch of pups (I already had one dog from a previous litter of hers)...and saw this cute little blue-eyed girl. Well, she didn't come home with me that day, but a few days later she did!! Hubby was NOT a happy camper!!

Haviris - That's the only thing I'm missing in my Mini Nigis - a blue eyed one!

Get this...we've had all conformation dogs lately. They are generally kinda dumb (you know - so pretty they don't need to be smart). For instance, my imperial shih tzu grump took 2 years to fully housebreak. It's fine, she's gorgeous.

Huck is just now coming 8 weeks old and (NO KIDDING) he's already housebroken.

He is so stinking smart! Already learning sit, too. Crate training is nearly done in two days (no night crying last night at all). SMART! Lovin' it.
