A buddy of mine had a hornet's nest that he had found in the woods out behind his house. He thought it would be a nice decoration for his "hunting room" so he bagged it up in the middle of the night and placed it in his freezer to kill the bees. Later, he took it out and screwed the branch into a stud in the wall and had an instant natural wall hanging.
Problem was, the freezer never killed the bees- it made them essentially "hibernate". Evidently a house full of mad hornets makes for a pretty expensive exterminator bill.
