Humidity How to lower

Just set my eggs in incubator tonight Bantam 17 Humidity is at 60% want to drop it to 45% is that just take out some water? Is it about water to much to little when the humidity is not where you want it> Thanks for your answers

If there are air plugs you can make sure they're open too.

The amount of water or depth does not necessarily control your humidity.
The surface area of water does. My bator says to take aluminum foil and cover part of the water channels until you reach what you want. I would run it dry and fill smallest cell first.
