Just a full update : I pulled off the dry thick white membrane and UNDER that was a whiter thinner membrane (you can see it in photo) I didn't want to pull that because I don't know if that's the inner membrane?

Yes, that is the inner membrane. Don't tear it or move it, as that is where the blood vessels are. If you dampen it you should be able to see the vessels. If the duckling is moving it's good.

There's a tiny hole in it? It's red but not bleeding or dripping with blood? Will this kill it!? And I can see the duckling move? I read if it bleeds you just leave it but its not even bleeding there's just a red dot ? You can see it in the photo the dark dot on the inner membrane I've left it alone now and dampened the inner membrane

It's getting air through that little hole. Leave it just like that... It's not bleeding, so that's good. There's no problem. The duckling's doing fine.
