@Frazzemrat1
Sending this to you as well....:hugs

It appears it will just graze Delmarva....but yeah....NJ and New England may get it worse.
I, for one, would rather watch and wait then to ignore and get lamblasted from a surprise hurricane or any severe weather system such as blizzards or tornadoes.

Right now, our weather people are not perfect (and yes, I wish they were!), nor are they weather mind readers. When they create these models, they can only go by the data available at the time used, the use of historical data, and predictability algorithms.

However, models are just that - models that show a wide range of "what if's". They are not set in stone and unforeseen circumstances and/or changing weather patterns dictates what the storm ends up doing.

Saying it "probably won't" go a certain way or it will act in a certain manner, may and has led people to take down their guard.

I don't want to play anymore. Does that count for anything???
Gee I do not wonder why you wouldn't want to play more :sick

Hopefully, moderators are schooled in management. Wouldn't want their job, everyone is entitled to their opinion and everyone must be allowed to make the decision that is best for them, their situation, and family. Only they can make that decision, no one else can, because they do not live that person's life. Just my opinion, mind you.

I would not enjoy being a mod either but them Ma said I danced a different beat anyways :plbb:bun

Wooden spoons and the flyswatter on bare legs...

And Mom on the phone glaring. Good times and fond memories. Miss Mom.
Kneeling on rice in the corner...don't you dare let your nose come off the wall either.
I have no idea how many times this was said growing up but I can tell you that it NEVER happened.
